I'm sick to death of seeing hackers and botters all. The majority of these are slayers. Several times I've been outside Ellinia or even Edelstein and also have jumped to channel, Fast RS Gold finding 2 or 2 1 bots on literally every channel in some maps. I understand Nexon doesn't deal with botters very well, and that's another problem entirely, but I had an idea on how to potentially limit their production. 99% of botters I visit have names using a random string of characters and numbers. Couldn't you implement a text filter to recognize strings that are random when someone attempts to create a personality and block the personality based on that?
And for the bot spammers who stand in FM1 and spam advertisements for illegal trading sites, could not a text filter be made to comprehend the words that they use, assess whether it's been repeated several times, buying osrs bonds for gold then automatically ban them? I've been enjoying MS2 mesos for approximately 8 decades now and I wish I could help out the community more by having the ability to simply ban obvious botters with a couple clicks, since I run across them often. It's frustrating.
