Days at Thanksgiving Point

I know, I know, I haven't updated forever...sorry! We went on a trip to Montana and I wanted to get those pics up before I did any others, but unfortunatley we didn't have a working camera up there (ahhhh- frustrating!) so we need to get pics from other people in order to have any. So I decided those will come later.
Last weekend we took Joshy to his paradise...a farm! We headed up to the farm at Thanksgiving Point and he loved it. He didn't want to leave, even in the 100 degree heat (notice his bright red face in the pics). He got to pet a number of animals and the highlight was his two pony rides. Sometimes I wonder if we are born with certain characteristics or if they are learned- like, Chad enjoyed the farm probably as much as Josh did and kept telling him one day he'd have his own horse. Hmmmm. Those two are peas in a pod!
The next Monday I went with some friends back up to Thanksgiving Point to the children's Discovery Garden. I had never been before and it was a cute place with lots of fun stuff for the kids. The highlight was the Noah's Arc swimming area (again it was sooooo hot! Why do I do this to myself?!) Joshy also enjoyed the bear, but he kept getting mad because he wanted to pet a real bear. All in all Thanksgiving Point gave us some good times!

My brother is selling a horse, so if Chad was serious about getting one there is one available....jk, it is prob a little soon. Hope all is well. I am coming to Utah in November so think we should definitely all do lunch. xoxoxoo

I am so proud of you for posting again. Joshy is so darling! Ryan is probably too little but I am sure he will love that place-he already loves animals. He can't seem to get enough of the reichman's cat and dog. He is a little pete through and through. I am glad you guys had a good time!

Looks like a fun summer!! Josh looks so much like you...his eyes especially, what a cute little guy! Dave has said that he'd like horses when we're older too...maybe Chad & Dave can go in on a few together?! haha. But yeah, we're excited for a little girl, a few of my aunts on my Dads side have all boys, and I was just nervous that I would follow in that trend, so even if this is our only little girl, I'm happy! We need to get together soon, I'll let you know when we're in Provo next & we can swing by maybe & see your cute place?!
